Christine Lynn (Traver) Mildorfer passed peacefully in her home on March 8, 2016 while in the company of her family. Born December 22, 1946 in Sioux City, Iowa to Howard and Helen (Spindler) Traver, Christine worked as a LPN until she returned to college and received her RN designation. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed crocheting, reading, and gardening. Christine is survived by children: Tim Lynott (Moriko), Burke Burnett, TX, Shawn Lewis (Les Monroe), Lincoln, NE, Valerie Casey (John), Spring, TX. Grandchildren: Kyna Lynott, Monica Lynott, Nico Lynott, Alexis Roberson, Willow Roberson. Siblings: Mark Traver, Merrill, IA, Matt Traver, Atlantic, IA, Janette DeSmet (Mike), Iowa City, IA. Cousin and dearest friend JoAnn Godlevsky, Glendale, AZ. Many nieces, nephews and close friends. Preceded in death by parents, and brother Howard Traver, Lewis, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for donation to Friendship Home (shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children), Lincoln, NE, or American Cancer Society.
