

Dale was born September 10, 1927 in Omaha, Nebraska to his parents, Ernest and Anna Hogan. He married Beverly Sip on November 20, 1948 and They had three children; Danny, Mark and Tye. Beverly passed away in 1985. Dale met Janice at Sears and they married August 15, 1997 in Denver, Colorado. They loved spending time at Johnson Lake, where Dale enjoyed his hobby of fishing. He also loved his hunting hobby. Dale was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for others. Jan and Dale were able to travel to many wonderful locations. Dale was able to retire after his long career at Sears.
He resided at 1515 S. Folsom in Lincoln, Nebraska before his move to Gateway Vista in Lincoln, Nebraska, and he was a Navy World War II Veteran and he belonged to the Masonic Centennial Lodge, No. 326 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Dale is survived by his wife, Janice Hogan Lincoln, Son, Tye Hogan, Oakland Park, Fla, Stepson, Todd Alley, Lincoln, Ne., Stepson, Jim Hoppens (Sandy) Green Valley, AZ, stepdaughter, Jackie Young (Alan), Folsom, CA, stepdaughter, Lisa McDonald, Lincoln, Ne, stepdaughter in law, Susette Alley, Lincoln, Ne, Grandchildren, Bill Alley (Aislynne), Bennet, Ne, Shane Alley (Chrissa), Lincoln, Ne., Bobbi Jo Roberts (Ryan), Bennet, Ne., Tyler Alley (Kendra), Eagle, Ne., Lucas Wensel (Jordin) Placerville, CA., and many great grandchildren.
Dale is preceded in death by his children; Danny Hogan, Mark Hogan, and their Mother Beverly Hogan, Stepson, Scott Alley, and stepson, Stewart Alley.
Visitation: Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 9:00 ~ 10:00 am at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska
Service to follow at the same location at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow at Westlawn ~ Hillcrest Cemetery, 5701 Center Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
