David Glen Spinar June 29, 1958 -October 27, 2016 David lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, his entire life. He attended Lincoln Northeast High School and Southeast Community College. He was an avid reader, created original poetry and short stories, loved music, and discovered his artistic talent later in life. He admired all animals, but was especially fond of cats and bird watching. Gardening was something he looked forward to every spring. It was not so much the planting of the vegetables that pleased him, but rather the harvest he could share with others. Most importantly, he was a man of strong faith. He was precede in death by his mother, Darlene Spinar and his father, Ervin Spinar. He is survived by his sister, Virginia (Warren) White of Colorado, brother, Donald (Beverly Austin) Spinar of Lincoln, Nebraska, three nephews, two nieces, five grandnephews, and three grandnieces. A gravesite service will be held a Lincoln Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 am Monday, November 7, 2016. Donations in David’s memory should be given to the Capital Humane Society.
