Dorothy Whiting, 90, of Lincoln died Saturday July 19, 2014. Dorothy Lee Whiting was born to Fuller Lee and Grace (Parker) Butler on February 7, 1924 at Shawnee, Oklahoma. She is survived by her son, Rick (Jaquline) Whiting of Lincoln; daughter, Juanita Roger of Lincoln; her sisters, Judith (Joe) Helter of California; Ethel Oliver of Arkansas; and Norma Mae Slosson of Fairmont, Nebraska; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Whiting; a brother and three sisters. Graveside Services will be Wednesday July 23, 2014 at 9:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the family in her name in care of Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
