Doyle F. Dahlin age 85 of Hallam died on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Omaha. He was born on November 2, 1930 in Polk County Nebraska to Alvin and Esther (Lind) Dahlin. Doyle married LaVonne Smith on August 13, 1949 in Lincoln. Doyle served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Nebraska Public Power District in 1986. Doyle is survived by his daughters, Jannet and Richard Jones of Highpoint, NC; Pam and Gary Siebe of Omaha; son, Kim and Mary Dahlin of South Sioux City; granddaughters, Karalee and Donny Anderson of CO; Kelsey and John Sanders of Page, AZ; Andrea Corbitt of Omaha; grandsons, Todd Siebe (Michelle Kilgallon) of Omaha; Scott and Brittany Jones of Acworth, GA; Brent Dahlin of Lincoln; great-grandchildren, Connor, Brody, Owen, Liam, Isaac, Oliver, Jackson and Miley; sister, Marjorie Stevens of Polk, NE; Marion Johnson of Osceola, NE; sister-in-law, Patty Dahlin of Stromsburg, NE. He was preceded in death by parents, his wife, LaVonne, and his brother, Donald. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to family for later designation.
