Earl “Bud” Wood, 85, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016. Born December 30, 1930 to Earl W and Lottie E (Spry) Wood. Love of family and strong work ethic made him a great Husband, Dad, Grandfather and Brother. Earl served in the Army Air Guard/Air Force as a Tech Sargent working on airplane engines, with his favorite being the P51 Mustang. Earl belonged to the painter’s local union #109 and the American Legion Post #3. Earl is survived by his daughter Sue (Mark) Adel of Ashland; sons David W (Lisa) Wood of Lincoln and John A (Julie) Wood of Lee’s Summit, Mo; grand-children, Melanie Simpson and Aaron Adel, Melissa Martinez and Derric Wood, and Amy and William Wood, and 11 great-grandchildren, sister June Reddick, Springfield, Mo. and many nieces and nephews, Earl will be welcomed in heaven by his wife, Lorene “Renie”, parents; sisters Margaret White and JoAnn Davidson, and brothers; Robert Wood and Oscar “Sonny” Wood,
