Elizabeth Anne DeNino, age 72 passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 in Lincoln, NE. Liz was born to Grant and Harriet Rome in Winnebago, MN on Sept. 2, 1950. She grew up and graduated High School in Valley City, ND. She received a B.A. in Elementary Ed. and a Masters of Ed. from UNL. She worked as a teacher for Lincoln Public Schools for 35 years. She was an active member of Lincoln Berean Church. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Grant and Harriet Rome. She is survived by her husband, Alan, sons William Stelzer (Gretchen), Michael Stelzer (Katie), daughter Julie Lewis (Nate), stepsons Adam DeNino, Andrew DeNino (Alicia) and 13 grandchildren.
A visitation with family for Liz will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 South 70th Street, Lincoln, NE. A celebration of life funeral service will occur Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Lincoln Berean Church.
