Evelina was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. As a very skilled seamstress, she enjoyed filling her home and wrapping her loved ones in homemade items. She was gifted at sewing, quilting, decorating, and crafting, along with an eye for fashion and interior design. What truly filled her heart was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren in creating wonderful memories and cherished family traditions.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin Meints; husband, Elroy Schoneweis; seven sisters; one brother; her son, James Meints; and grandson, Jesse Meints. She is survived by her children, Susan Diers, Wayne Meints, Russell Schoneweis, Rodney Schoneweis, and Robin Hostetler; grandchildren, Joel and Jamie Diers, Sam Meints, Kai and Paige Schoneweis, Lindsay Davis, Ashley Schoneweis, Amber Schoneweis, Adam, Tyler, and Thomas Anderson; twenty great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Buhr; sister, Frieda Wolken; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
