Gary Dean Little

Gary Dean Little, Sr. passed away on May 22, 2021, at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, May 28, 2021, at Lincoln Memorial. Carl Godwin will present the eulogy, and a small reception will follow.

Gary was born on January 24, 1942, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Gary was one of four children born to Marvin and Evelyn Little. Gary served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, serving his country aboard the U.S.S. Kittyhawk. Gary held many interesting jobs after the military, including Buick, Lincoln Fire Department, Coke-a-Cola, and retiring from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Gary was a man of faith. He loved God and welcomed his admission to Heaven. He loved restoring old cars and tinkering in the garage. The light in Gary’s life has always been his grandchildren. Genna, Jesse, and Lily will all hold special memories of their beloved Papa.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents and siblings and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eloise Little and sweet dog, Ellie, Gary and Heidi Little; son and daughter-in-law, Beverly and Steve Tupe; daughter and son-in-law, Genevieve and Zach Wright; granddaughter and husband, Jesse Little; grandson, Lillian Little; granddaughter, and Dakota Wright; great-grandson.
