Geneva (Oswalt) Landon (Neva), of Lincoln passed into the arms of Jesus on December 22, 2015 at the age of 93, surrounded by her family. She was born July 19, 1922 to Jesse and Alice Oswalt in Elkhart, Indiana. Neva graduated from Elkhart High School and married her husband, Jack Landon, becoming a military wife. She retired as Vice President from Clovis National Bank, Clovis, NM. Neva was a loving and caring person who always put her family first. She enjoyed dancing, which she continued to do until a week before her death, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family. Although she sparkled in coordinating outfits with matching jewelry everyday, she dressed in red from head to toe on Husker football game days. Her family and many friends will never doubt how much she loved them, because she never walked away or hung up the phone without telling them. Although her heavenly family rejoiced as she joined them, her earthly family misses her terribly. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Jack Nicholas Landon, her daughter, Marijo Grabe, and her brother, Lee Oswalt. She is survived by her son, Jack Nicholas Landon III (Janis), grandchildren Hilary Grabe (Michael) of Switzerland, Alison Grabe of Austin, Texas, Heather Hassebroeck (Adam), Megan Landon (Nick Yager), all of Lincoln, 9 great-grandchildren, special friend, Delbert (Del) Dagley, and a very large number of friends. A Memorial service will be held at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 10:00 am. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 pm at Savannah Pines Retirement Home, 3900 Pine Lake Road, Lincoln, NE, where she resided until her death.
