
Gil E. Trevizo, 73, of Lincoln passed away October 7, 2015. He was born September 8, 1942 in Hurley, New Mexico to Alfred and Josefa (Enriquez) Trevizo. He worked professionally as a Chemist for Asarco in El Paso, Texas and a City Planner for El Pasco, Texas. He graduated from Technical High School, El Paso, Texas and the University of Texas at El Pasco as a Political Science Major. He served his country in the US Marines during the 1960’s and then served in both the Army and Marine Reserves. He married Rachel (Lopez) Trevizo, December 18, 1970. They were married for almost 45 years and enjoyed dancing, playing banko, camping, volunteering at church and enjoying their family. For many years he was a board member of the Police Advisory Committee. He is survived by his wife Rachel, son; Gil Trevizo Jr.(Jeannine) of Concord, CA; daughter Renee Becker (Jason) of Seward, NE; daughter Sarah Trevizo of Lincoln, NE; sister Emma Montes(Orlando); brother Tomas(Cecelia) of El Paso TX, along with many friends and relatives. He was a loving husband and father and will be missed greatly. A Rosary will be held Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 7:00 PM in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. A Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Monday, October 12, 2015 at 10:30 AM.
