Kay M. Hollett, 89 of Lincoln, Ne passed away on April 14, 2026. She was born in Lincoln, Ne on September 14, 1936, the daughter of Kenneth and Orpha Parker. Kay worked for many years as a clerk for the United States Postal Service. Left to cherish her memory are her children, James L. Waterbury and Melody (Tracy) Evans, grandchildren, Marissa (Bryton) Casey and great-grandchildren, Addilynn and Taylor Casey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Dennis K Merkley and Donald E Hollett and a grandson, Taylor J Evans. According to Kay's wishes, no formal services are planned. Memorial contributions in Kay's honor are requested to the Capital Humane Society.
