Keith W. Ahrends

Keith W. Ahrends, age 81, of Wahoo, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024. Keith was born November 17, 1942 to William and Eulida (Hughes) Ahrends. Keith is survived by two children, John (Candace) Ahrends, Sherry (Derrick) Dea; Sister, Shirley (Don) Kringel; grandchildren, Kaelan (Jessica) Dea, Meghan (Travis) Dea, Lorelei Ahrends, Jessica (Edgar) Dea, Andrea (Ben) Dea; 1 great-grandchild, Colton Dea; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers Richard and Larry, sister Sandra and his wife Sharon.

Keith always enjoyed telling stories about his jobs which include The American Stores, his bread route to Wahoo and Fremont and his business Keith's Conoco and Lucky's Gameroom.

Some things he also enjoyed were playing Red Dead Redemption 2 on his XBOX, hunting and fishing with his brother Larry and his Uncle Don at their cabin in Millford . When he was with his grandchildren they played games and watched movies. Keith and Sharon enjoyed traveling and visiting their son and family.

When he was at Saunders House in Wahoo NE he enjoyed going to bible studying, bingo, and talking to all the residents . He also enjoyed going up to Super C and drinking coffee while conversating with everyone.

A celebration of life for Keith will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Greenwood Firehall, 251 Broad St., Greenwood, NE 68366.
