Lee Ann Barry

LeeAnn Barry, 58, daughter of Robert Berry and the late Inge Hartenstein Berry was born in Topeka,KS on October 5th, 1958. She attended Lincoln East High School in Lincoln, NE and graduated class of ’76. She studied art at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. In April 1981 she married Michael Barry of Arlington,MA and together had three children Christopher, Shawn, and Michaela. LeeAnn was loved by so many and her life was as beautiful as the flowers in her garden. Her kindness, patience, and unconditional love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. LeeAnn was a friend to everyone she met, and lived her life by the philosophy “A stranger is a friend you just haven’t met yet.” She peacefully departed this life on Thursday, January 26th, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Regional Hospital. She was surrounded by her children and loved ones. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Christopher and Ericka Barry of Dallas, TX; Shawn and Kate Barry of Lincoln, NE; and Michaela Barry and fiancée Harrison Fleming of Lincoln, NE. LeeAnn will forever be loved by her family: Ex-husband Michael Barry of Lincoln, NE; Father Robert Berry and Step-Mother Lorraine Berry of Hot Springs, AR; Sisters: Monika Goodwin of Lawrence, KS; Susan Stevens of Denton, NE; Carrie Harris of Lincoln,NE; and Kim Harano of Houston, TX; Brothers: Richard Berry of Laguna Beach, CA; and Mike Berry of Minneapolis, MN.
