My condolences to Carolyn and family. Leroy was senior class president at Lewiston.  He and Carolyn organized our every-5-year reunions.  Although I saw him only a few times in the past 50+ years, it was always like catching up with a next-door neighbor.  I will miss him.

Carolyn,  I was surprised and sad to hear of Leroy's passing.  It does not seem that long when we ere in high school.   I know this is a sad time for you and just wanted to let you know I was thinking of your.

I was sorry to learn of LeRoy's passing. We were out of town at the time but Erma told me.  I remember him running around with Leonard at family get-togethers, seems like they got into mischief alot!  I understand he was in poor health for awhile and you had your cancer as well. Bless you for caring for him even though you were not well.  You have your memories to cherish and please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolences to Debbie, your immediate and extended family.  So sorry to hear the news about your Dad.  What a wonderful picture of him with such a bright, happy smile.  Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I was gifted with the pleasure to have known you in such a short amount time. It was October 2014 when I was first graced with your presence. From that time on you weren't just Corryn's Grandpa. To me you displayed characteristics that made you much more than that in my eyes. I was left to see you as a loving, compassionate, and warmhearted Husband, Father, and Grandfather. The biggest thing I will remember you for is you extraordinary smile and the night I was introduced to Fried Bread. 

On the night of your passing I knew I had to stay strong for Corryn from that moment on. It does not take a lot for me to shed a tear. When I heard your Lovely Wife Carolyn say "I thought we had more time". Then your beloved Daughter Diane and Mother to Corryn say " I didn't get to give him his Fathers Day Present". And then your Precious Granddaughter Corryn would later say "I was going to go on Tuesday night to celebrate my Birthday with him for a little while". After hearing all that it was hard to sleep that night without shedding a tear as I would lie in bed comforting Corryn for a sleepless night.

Though we never really got to know one another that well. I am grateful for the time I got to know you.

I wish I could give you one more hug and tell you how much I love you. Words can't express how very much you'll be missed - I'll cherish my memories until I get to see you again.

Sorry to hear about you loss.  My brothers and sister and I rode the same school bus with Arlene and LeRoy when we were attending school at Virginia Public Schools.  My family lived across the section from the Pardes.  May he rest in peace.   Evelyn (Reiman) Olson
