Marie Alyson Head, age 91, died May 28, 2018. Marie was born February 4, 1927 to Arthur and Dorothy Messervey in Lomond, Newfoundland, Canada, growing up in the village of St. Georges. She married the love of her life, James M. Head of Alabama on July 12, 1945 in St. Georges. They lovingly raised three children in a traveling Air Force family. Mom made each new place a wonderful home for us, full of love.
Marie is survived by her children Patricia (Terry), Jimmy (Chuck) and Deborah (Ted), her grandchildren Jerry (Kelly), Amy, Tyler (Risa), Ryan (Erin) and Katherine (Bryan), 10 great grandchildren with the eleventh on the way, and sister Yvonne. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Private family services to be held at Lincoln Memorial Park in Lincoln.
