Neal Wilson passed away peacefully in Grand Island, Nebraska on January 3, 2016 at the age of 93. He was born in Alliance, Nebraska on June 10, 1922 to Fremont and Blanche Wilson. Neal was a proud World War II veteran having served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Forces. During his service in the European theater, he was a pilot of Mitchell B25 bombers primarily operating in Italy. After the war, he returned home to Nebraska and completed a long career as a district manager for various seed corn companies. Neal was preceded in death by his wife Yvonne Ann Moeller to whom he was married for 68 years, and his brother Robert Wilson of California. Neal is survived by their three children, Vicki Wilson of Tucson, Arizona, Gail Wilson of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Steven Wilson and his wife Terri of Grand Island, Nebraska. He is also survived by his sister, Verna Ruth Woods of Falls City, Nebraska, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. Neal was a hard-working father who was proud of his family and military service. To our dad and grandpa, “we love you and will miss you.”
