Orville L Klein

Orville L. Klein age 91 of Lincoln, (formerly of Adams) died on Sunday, September 11, 2016 in Lincoln. He was born on November 28, 1924 to Gerrit and Hattie (Rapp) Klein. He married Betty A. Lawson on August 3, 1945, to this union three children were born, Randy, Susan and John. On July 12, 1980 he married Doris Norder. During his life Orville farmed, worked for Kingery Construction as a mason tender foreman, general manager of three service stations for Breeze Oil Co. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber until retirement. After three weeks of retirement he went to work for Lincoln Auto Auction until 2003. Orville was an avid camper. Orville is survived by his son, Randy (Kimberly) Klein of Bennet, daughter, Susan (Ed) Schmersal of Lincoln, son, John (Shelly) Klein of Lincoln, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives, Betty and Doris, brothers, Harvey and Norman. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Davey.
