Peggy M. McCorkle age 78 of Lincoln, died Sunday, February 01, 2015. Born in Guide Rock, NE to Glenn and Edith (DeLay) Mefford. She married Derle McCorkle on November 25, 1955 Red Cloud, NE, Peggy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed being with her family. She enjoyed playing cards and camping. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Derle and her brother-in-law Earl Duane McCorkle. She is survived by her children Teresa (Roger) Bergman, Phillip (Deb Money) McCorkle; grandchildren Angie (Phil) Ligenza, Daniel Wallace, Ashley Burcham, Jordan (Ashley) Bergman, Nicole McCorkle; great grandchildren Austin, Carter and Layne; brother Bill Mefford; nieces and nephews. Memorial service 10am Friday, February 6, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th St. Lincoln, NE. Memorials to the family.
