Peter E. “Gene” Debus, of Lincoln, passed away on November 24, 2015. He was born in Three Oaks, MI to John and Alice (Massow) Debus. Retired from the University of Nebraska after more than 35 years of service. Survivors: Daughter: Dawn (Jason) Jackson. Granddaughters: Shellbi Debus and Ava Jackson. Grandson: Nathan Jackson. Sister: Mary (Jerry) Newman, Joan (Joe) Birx. Brother: Ronald (Andrea) Debus. Several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: Wife: Marlene, Parents, Brother: John, Sister: Lillian.
