Richard G Engelhardt Sr of Lincoln, NE passed away Sunday January 20, 2016. He was born in Hastings to George W. Sr and Elvina ( Kyle) Engelhardt. He was active in saddle horse showing and training, leader of 4-H horse club Century Riders, member of Senior Ambassador Men’s choir in Mission, Tx. He was the recipient of two fishing master angler awards. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Marlyn (Kent) Engelhardt, children; Gregory, Mary Knabe, Richard Jr (Phyllis), six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Dick was proceeded in death by his parents and brother Melvin.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 30, 2016 at 2:00 Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 s. 14th Street, Lincoln, Ne.
Private family inurnment will be held prior to Celebration of Life.
