Ross E Munn

Ross E. Munn, 81, of Waverly, passed away Friday, June 19th, 2015. He was born on April 12th, 1934 in Lincoln, NE to Ross E. and Rose (Birdsall) Munn. Ross was an elementary school educator in several rural areas of Nebraska. He also had many talents that lead him down different and unusual career paths over the years. Ross enjoyed dancing with his wife, JoAnne, fishing with his grandchildren, frequenting the local garage sale markets, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Ross and his wife enjoyed time with friends at card club. Ross will be missed dearly. He is survived by his loving wife, JoAnne; brothers, Bill Munn of Lincoln, NE, Joe (Dawn) Munn of Lincoln, NE, sister, Mary Buss of Lincoln, NE, and sister-in-law, Helen Munn of Waverly, NE; 8 children, Cindy Troyer of Honey Creek, IA, Ross E. (Nila) Munn of Goshen, IN, Joan Hines (John) Kay of Lincoln, NE, Becky (Baker) Anderson of Danville, PA, Robin (Arn) Longoria of St. Joseph, MO, MJ (Angie) Munn of Wayne, NE, Kathy (Jon) Krainak of Omaha, NE, Jim Munn of St. Edward, NE; 29 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-children, Terry (Terri Lynn) Seawall of Fremont, NE, Lorrie (Patrick) Struve of Lincoln, NE, Todd (Malia) Seawall of Fremont, NE; 5 step-grandchildren; and special friend, McKeena Bunch. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dan Munn and son, Ted Michael Munn. The funeral service will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, June 24th, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8PM Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015 with family receiving friends from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Memorials in care of the family.
