Wayne A. Foreman Sr.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mary Lou Foreman; his siblings, Gilbert, Raymond (Jeanette), Loretta (Junior), Angus, and Bonnie; brother-in-law, Gus Dittmann Jr.; and sister-in-law, Janet (Dick).

Wayne worked for 45 years for Hill’s Hatchery. He delivered newspapers for the Omaha World Herald, USA Today, and Lincoln Journal Star for many years. He worked at Lincoln Public Schools as a custodian and was a Veteran of the United States Army in the 50’s. Wayne loved to go fishing and camping, doing yard work, going to Virginia's Café to eat, and walking his dogs over the years.

He is survived by his children, Wayne A. Foreman Jr. (Rita) of Nebraska City, Donna Foreman, and his “other” daughter, Susie Milchling of Lincoln; sister-in-law, Caroll Dittmann of Lincoln; grandchildren, Johnathan Foreman of Colorado, Jeremy Foreman (Kandi) of Unadilla, Jessica Hopper (Matt) of Tecumseh; honorary grandchildren, James Wieting (Tiffanee) and Kayla Puhrmann (Zac Champoux); ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Jenks; and many cherished friends.

A funeral service for Wayne will be held Monday January 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Community Church, 4400 N 1st Street. Officiated by Pastor Cleve Smith. There will be an interment at Lincoln Memorial Park and Cemetery for family at a later date.
