Wayne Louis Kennedy died unexpectedly in Lincoln, NE on Sunday October 18th, 2015 at the age of 70. Wayne is survived by Patty Kennedy, Kim Kennedy and her children Crystal and Luna Killen, also Casey and Sierra and their child Caelin, all from Lincoln, NE. Wayne is also survived by Bruce and wife Marge Kennedy and their children, also Kerry and Lynn Simonds and their children. Wayne graduated from Southeast Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Auto Body Mechanic’s. He then used that degree to own/start Wayne’s Body Shop in 1970. Wayne married Patty on December 6th 1968, they would have shared their 48th wedding anniversary this December.
A funeral is scheduled for Monday, 3:00 pm October 26th 2015 at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512, with a reception to follow.
