Wilbur M. Bechtolt

Wilbur (Bill) M. Bechtolt was born to Wilbur and Blanche Bechtolt on Sept. 30, 1934 in York, Ne., and passed away on Jan. 19, 2024. He was a member of American Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 342, DAV Chapter 7, VFW 131 and 40/8 Local 103. Proudly serving the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, DeLores, his brother E. Duane Bechtolt, his children, Linda Steffen, Daniel Bechtolt, Dennis Schmidt, Dean (Gayle) Schmidt, David (Paulette) Schmidt, Kristie ( Marc) Hinrichs. Preceded in death by his first wife Elsie, his brother Robert Dean Bechtolt, daughter, Lori Ashbaugh, daughter in law, Ann Schmidt, son in law Kevin Steffen, granddaughter, Haley Schmidt and grandson Little Kevin Steffen. Viewing will be Monday, Jan.22, 2024 from 5:30 to 8:00PM. Funeral will be Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024 at 2:00PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home with Military Honors. Memorials are in the care of the family.
