June 23, 2025
Luis passed away on June 23, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and fierce devotion to his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Milagros Figueredo, who stood by his side with love and strength throughout their 40 years of life together.
He was a cherished father to Luis Daniel Figueredo and his loving partner Shauna Farrell. His unwavering support and guidance will also live on through his son, Miguel Antonio Figueredo, and daughter-in-law Diana Ribeiro, and through his daughter, Alyssa Cristina Figueredo, and her husband Alvaro Bernal.
Luis’s greatest joy came from being a grandfather. He lit up in the presence of his grandchildren: Miguel Figueredo Jr., Alice Ribeiro Figueredo, Juliet Ribeiro Figueredo, and Sebastian Bernal — each a piece of his heart and pride.
He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Daisy Delaney and her husband Chris, and Robert Figueredo, who stood by him with enduring familial strength.
Luis was a man of deep passions. He carried a heartfelt love for both America and Cuba — the lands that shaped his story. He found simple pleasures in a good cigar, a quiet day spent fishing, the rumble of a Chevy big block engine, and the sweet comfort of a warm pastel de guayaba. He admired the strength and craftsmanship of classic American muscle, and his eyes would light up at the sight of a beautifully tuned engine — just as they would for a fresh Cuban pastry shared with loved ones.
What truly set Luis apart was his willingness to help anyone in need. Whether it was lending a hand under the hood of a neighbor’s car, fixing someone’s heating in the dead of winter, or simply showing up when it mattered most — he gave his time and skills freely, without expecting anything in return. He lived by a quiet code of service, kindness, and dependability that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
As a proud member of Teamsters Local 560, Luis worked with integrity, dignity, and purpose. He stood tall in his values and carried himself with a quiet strength that left a mark on all who crossed his path.
More than anything, Luis treasured time with family and friends. He created memories that will live on in stories, in laughter, and in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
He was, and will always be, deeply loved
A visitation for Amaury will be on Wednesday July 2, 2025 at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home from 5PM-9PM.
