Bienvenido Pool

Veteran of the Navy of the Dominican Republic, autobody repair professional, and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather – Bienvenido Pol passed on Oct 19th 2024. Born in Baní, Dominican Republic, Bienvenido was loved and cared for by his children and grandchildren who ensured his life, especially his last days, were filled with love. He joins his wife Ada (Quica), parents and siblings in eternal rest and is remembered dearly by his eight children and stepchildren, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

As a car and plane aficionado, Bienvenido spent countless hours admiring marvels of engineering. His life was filled with great escapades, experiencing thrilling and life-changing adventures.

As a young man and throughout his life he enjoyed returning to his hometown Baní for Christmas, the views of the river Nizao from the family finca and eating home-grown mangoes and avocados. He was a loving father, leaving enduring life lessons and eternal memories on his children.

Bienvenido was always overjoyed to dote on his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, on occasion cooking his signature moro de habichuelas rojas con pollo guisado for his family and rejoicing in family holiday traditions with them.

Visiting Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 5:00-9:00 pm at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am in the funeral home, followed by interment at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
