

Nacido en la encantadora ciudad de Montevideo, Uruguay, el 18 de abril de 1954, Fernando fue el menor de dos hermanos. Impulsado por un profundo amor por la aventura y la vida en la carretera, se convirtió en propietario y operador de F&M Trucking durante muchos años. Durante sus viajes, también desarrolló un profundo amor por la comida, con cada platillo contando su propia historia especial, al igual que sus propias experiencias.
En 1973, con esperanza en sus ojos y sueños en su corazón, Fernando emprendió el valiente viaje a Nueva Jersey, donde conoció a Sonia Macri. Su historia de amor se desarrolló y celebraron su unión el 9 de octubre de 1976, rodeados del cálido afecto de amigos y familiares.
Aunque Fernando se ha reunido ahora con sus queridos padres, Mirta Gladys Barboza y Domingo Antonio Macri, su legado continúa aquí en la Tierra. Deja atrás a su cariñosa esposa, Sonia Macri Solis, y a sus hijos, Mirtha Macri Greaves y Angelica Macri Worsham. Fernando Pablo Macri, a man whose heart was as big as the open roads he loved so much, took his final journey on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the age of 69.
Born in the lovely city of Montevideo, Uruguay, on April 18, 1954, Fernando was the younger of two siblings. Driven by a strong love for adventure and life on the road, he became the owner-operator of F&M Trucking for many years. During his travels, he also developed a deep love for food, with each dish having its own special story, much like his own experiences.
In 1973, with hope in his eyes and dreams in his heart, Fernando made the brave journey to the United States, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he met Sonia Macri. Their love story unfolded, and they celebrated their union on October 9, 1976, surrounded by the warmth of friends and family.
While Fernando has now reunited with his beloved parents, Mirta Gladys Barboza and Domingo Antonio Macri, his legacy continues here on earth. He leaves behind his loving wife, Sonia Macri Solis, and their children, Mirtha Macri Greaves and Angelica Macri Worsham. His stepdaughters, Sonia Cecilia and Juana Monica Bernales, also hold a special place in their hearts for him. His spirit lives on in the eyes of his grandchildren - Fernando, Isabella, Alyssa, Olivia, Joaquim, Tiago, Jelisa, Jasmin, Bryan, and Josue. His brother, Gustavo Macri, and sister-in-law, Laura Cadenazzi, will always cherish the memories they created with him. Additionally, his bond with his sons-in-law, Matthew Worsham and John Greaves, was one of mutual respect and affection.
Fernando's life was a collection of beautiful moments, grand adventures, and boundless love. Today, as we remember him, let us celebrate the richness of his journey, the love he shared, and the countless lives he touched.

A prayer service will take place Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067.
