Frank was a man who always wanted to have a good time. When he was younger he enjoyed roller skating, swimming, and playing hockey. He also shot a wicked game of pool.Frank was also a life long movie buff who never missed an opportunity to watch a film. He loved music and was often caught singing the wrong lyrics and dancing with people or objects.
A proud Union man and shop steward, he worked as a mason tender with Local 79 in New York before he retired after 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion and was sergeant of arms. Frank was surgeon for NJVFW district 5 and from 2006 to 2014 served as commander of VFW post 1397 in Linden New Jersey where he is a lifetime member.

Frank was a strong and brave man who while young battled in a war overseas and while aging battled several chronic health conditions over a number of years. Regardless of what the fight was he always carried on. He was an overly generous man who would give far more than he could to ensure those around him were content. He was always smiling or scowling to provoke a reaction out of others and make people laugh.
