Joanna Wronska, born on May 3, 1957, in Jaśliska, Poland was sent to her eternal domu on February 26, 2025. Joanna is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of over 44 years Andrzej Wronski. She was the beloved daughter of the late Julian and Helena Bukowzcyk.
Joanna was an unwavering force. Her journey on earth was one of compassion, hard work, and generosity. Her passing has left an insurmountable void in the hearts of her family, friends and those who knew her.
Joanna is survived by her niece Magdalena Bukowzcyk Porada, nephew Robert Bukowzcyk, sons Jerzy, Grzegorz, Michal, Piotr, Tomasz, and Andrzej Jr. Wronski. She also leaves behind her niunias who cherished her dearly. Among them are Anna, Michelle, Emily, Stephanie, and Beatriz Wronski. In addition she departs from her zabkas Wiktoria, Alexander Jedrick, Benjamin Andrew, Penelope, Juliette Joanna Wronski and Tyler Paul Rietdorf. She was predeceased by her brother Krzysztof Bukowzcyk.
Those who knew Joanna will remember her infectious smile, her incredible strength and her frequent catch phrases: “No czapka domu,” “Shots and spać,” and “Buzi buzi.”
Joanna grew up in Poland and moved to America on March 10, 1988 where she continued to nurture her children while working at Howard Press Inc. Some of her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and creating memories traveling to Washington, Canada, Alaska, Orlando, Lake Placid, Poland and many more places. Joanna had an enthusiasm for learning. She enjoyed watching tennis, playing Candy Crush, cooking, and caring for her garden.
She took an active role in the lives of her grandchildren by attending dance recitals, caring for her moja moja, and providing boundless love and support to each of them.
Although Joanna’s physical presence may no longer grace this earth, her spirit lives within us. May her memory be a blessing and may we carry forth the strength she did.
