Jorge Vargas

Jorge was born on December 17, 1971, in Lima Peru, to Jorge A. Vargas and Rosa N. Murata. Jorge was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Jorge was self-employed and owned and operated his own truck business, Landstar, in Newark, NJ. He was an avid soccer player since he was 15, and played at the YMCA field in Elizabeth. Jorge always enjoyed a good meal and a drink to go with it.

Jorge is predeceased by his Father Jorge A. Vargas.

Jorge is survived by his lifelong partner, Julissa; his mother, Rosa Vargas; his 2 sons, Jorge, Jr. and Guillermo; and a brother Victor Vargas.

A visitation for Jorge will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday, September 30, 2019, 9:00 am from the funeral home. Funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, Elizabeth 10:00 am. Cremation will be private.
