Ladislao Aleman

Ladislao Aleman, 79, of Elizabeth, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020. Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, he came to Elizabeth in 1970. While in Lares, PR, he was a farmworker. Mr. Aleman was a retired steel worker for Ferguson Industries in Union, for over 20 years. When Ladislao wasn't working on the farm or gardening, he was spending quality time with family and friends.

Ladislao was the beloved husband of Iluminada "Luz" Aleman, devoted father of Jose Aleman and his wife Margarita, Ovidia Delgado and her husband Jose, and Elvin Aleman. Loving brother of Andres, Mariano and Carmen Aleman, brother-in-law of Wilfredo Gonzalez. Cherished grandfather of Melanie Aleman, Jose E. Aleman, Jose E. Delgado, Jennifer Grullon, Elvin Aleman, Jr., and Christina Aleman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral on Thursday, November 5, 2020, 9:00 am from the funeral home. Funeral mass Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Elizabeth 10:00 am, followed by an entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Wednesday, 4:00-8:00 pm.
