Louis Strano

Born in Elizabeth, N.J. to the late Pasquale and Domenica Strano. Louis was an amazing man with many talents and always made time for his family and friends.

Louis was a WWII veteran and served with the US Navy for over 2 years on the USS Columbus with the rank of Seaman 1st Class. After being discharged from the US Navy, he then proceeded to go to trade school and became a professional painter and paper hanger which lead to starting his own business to serve his local community. In his spare time, Louis loved purchasing and restoring antique classic cars. All who had the pleasure of knowing and meeting Louis knows how special of a man he was and how deeply missed he will be.

He was the beloved husband of Edith (Paone) Strano, devoted father of Louis Strano Jr. and wife Georgina, Gary Strano and wife Vivian, and Christopher Strano and wife Laurene. Loving brother of Mary DiSavino and the late George Strano and Pat Strano. Cherished grandfather of Shane Claire Strano and Colton Louis Strano.

A Funeral visitation will be offered at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home privately to immediate family only. Louis will be laid in his final resting place at St. Gertrudes Cemetery, Colonia, N.J.
