Luis Castro De Jesus passed away on December 17, 2025, after a valiant two-year battle with an aggressive cancer. Born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Luis was a man of incredible resilience who lived life with a "lion’s heart" and a proud Puerto Rican spirit.
A skilled mechanic by trade, Luis was known for his ability to fix anything and for the stubborn strength he brought to every challenge. He was a man of action rather than words; a protector and provider who was everything a father should be. Whether he was working with his hands or riding his motorcycle, he lived with a fierce devotion to those he loved.
He is survived by Anthony Sankitts, Genesis Placencia, and Edwin Lugo, along with many cherished family members and friends. Though he was "rough around the edges," his kindness knew no bounds, and his legacy of strength will never be forgotten.
A visitation will be held at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, located at 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ, 07036, United States. The visitation is scheduled for December 22, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A private cremation will follow all services.
