Manuel (Manolo) Peña, age 102, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Born in San Juan y Martinez, Pinar del Rio, Cuba, on June 18, 1923. He was the youngest of thirteen siblings. After emigrating from Cuba in 1969, he settled in Elizabeth, New Jersey where he lived until his death.
A loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Manolo found joy in spending time with his family, especially his six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Family and friends will always remember his nurturing spirit, faith, and dedication to helping others.
Manolo also took great joy in gardening and tending to his ample yard, where he specially loved growing a variety of Roses and other flowers.
A visitation for Manuel will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral will follow on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Rosedale Cemetery, 750 E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
