Orestes Regalado

Orestes was born on November 9, 1932 in San Juan y Martinez, Pinar del Rio, Cuba to his late parents Jacinto Regalado and Rosita Escobio. He is predeceased by his brothers; Jacinto Regalado, Hector Regalado, Carlos Regalado, Sergio Regalado and sisters Anita Regalado and Haydee Regalado.

Orestes is lovingly survived by his beloved wife, Teresa Regalado, Daughter Diana Valente and huband Joao P. Valente, adoring granddaughter, Gabriella, daughter Maythe Spillane and husband Mark Melnyk, beloved grandsons, Sean Spillane and wife Alyssa Spillane, Brian Fiallo and wife Jordan Fiallo, and great grandchildren Wyatt, Sylvia, Julian and Gabriel Fiallo and lastly sisters Norma Regalado and Mirta Regalado.

Orestes was a math instructor in his native country Cuba before arriving in the US in 1970. He then worked as a Selector for Wakefern Corporation, aka ShopRite for 30 years. He was a talented artist and sculptor. He often loved drawing caricatures of unsuspecting co-workers and friends.

A visitation for Orestes will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00AM, with prayers starting at 10:30AM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Entombment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
