Patricia Anton

L. Patricia Anton, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister and friend passed away, at home, on February 15, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1924 in Newark, New Jersey to Charles and Anna Miller (Kulacz). Patricia is survived by her loving children Kenneth and Susan Anton, her beloved grandson Michael, his wife Libby and her great grandson Milo.

Patricia is preceded by her husband Joseph, her sisters Adele Miller, Anna (Stellie) Fazio and brothers Stanley (Jim) Miller and Rev. Fred B. Miller.

During her lifetime Patricia held several positions including school crossing guard in Elizabeth, and working in the checking department at Union County Savings Bank. However, her most important position was wife, mother, and friend. She always had a smile on her face, and was known to give the best hugs to anyone and everyone. She was also active in local social clubs/activities including the Immaculate Heart of Mary Society of St. Hedwig’s, Queen Hedwig Society, and Past President of Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus - Dean Gessner Post #3310. She was also one of the “Pierogi Ladies” a member of the PTA, and Friday night bingo ladies at St. Hedwig’s.

She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family, friends and the countless lives she touched throughout her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Patricia.

A visitation for L will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass will take place Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, 600 Myrtle St, Elizabeth, NJ 07202. A funeral will follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery & Mausoleum, 53 Inman Ave, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07067.
