Pierre Roger Zephir

Pierre Roger Zephir of Elizabeth, NJ, loveling known as Boss Pierre or Pierrot, was called upon by The Lord on October 8, 2023, at the age of 83. Pierre was born in a small town outside of Jeremie, Haiti, called Moron, on March 3, 1940. He left behind his loving wife of 51 years, Jeanette; son John (JC); his daughter-in-law, Modline; and grandchildren Chris, Emma, and Anthony.

Pierre was a devout Christian who loved to plant in his garden, especially that lalo. Maybe he missed his calling as a farmer. As a pillar of his community, Pierre will be missed here and in his hometown in Haiti.

One of 11 children, he leaves behind a multitude of nieces and nephews, Jean Benoit, Pierre Richard, Jeff, Edelyn, Michou, Magalie, Pechlyn, Gregory, Junior, Guichane, Evodie, Nelice, Frantz, Adeline, Roody and Jessica to name a few. A man of very few words, Pierre was a gentle soul and father figure to many. As a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, Pierre touched many lives during his earthly stay. Pierre’s love for his family will forever be immortalized. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

A visitation for Pierre will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Friends and family are invited to gather at the CEA Church of God, 67 Prince St., Elizabeth, NJ 07208 the following morning for the prayer service, which will take place from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, 750 E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Guests are invited to the repass, which will be held at CEA Church of God, immediately after services conclude at the cemetery.
