Richard Edgar Llerena

Richard Edgar Llerena, 59, of Roselle, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022. Richard was born on September 25, 1962 in Trujillo- Peru to his late parents Elsa Chu Flores and Raul Llerena. He came to the United States in 1990 where he began his career as a computer programmer, but also worked as a carpenter. He was a man of faith, very humble, honest, a loving husband, good brother, and caring uncle. Richard was a very good man, very spiritual, kind, and loved by all family and friends here in the US as well as in Peru. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Richard is predeceased by his brother Percy Llerena.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Carmen Amaya from Cucuta, Colombia who is expecting their baby in February. Her children, Kevin, Daughter, Daniela; Brothers, Juan C. Llerena, Jorge R. Llerena, Giovanni Llerena; sister, Betty E. Llerena, and significant other Mauro Tollis; Niece, Jessica E. Doering; Nephews, Daniel C. Doering, Christopher S. Doering, Jorge C. Arguelles, Raul Llerena.

A visitation for Richard will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 5:00-9:00PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. George Avenue, Linden. A prayer service will begin at 8:00PM. Cremation will be private.
