Ricky J Vega

Ricky J Vega, age 53, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Ricky was born and raised in Elizabeth and graduated from the local high school. For many years, he worked alongside his father and brothers at the family's automotive repair business, where he honed his natural talent for working with his hands. From an early age, he built intricate model cars and enjoyed following NASCAR racing. Ricky's love for all animals was renowned, particularly that of his Chihuahua, Spike. In his free time, Ricky enjoyed outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, as well as spending time with his nieces and nephew at amusement parks. He was also an avid fan of the NY Giants and never missed a game. Ricky will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Ricky is survived by his loving parents George and Darlene Vega, brother George and spouse Emile , brother Jeffrey and spouse Darlene, niece Alyssa, nephew George "Geo", niece Miranda, niece Jocelyn, niece Aimee, niece Brittany and his 4 legged companion Spike.

A visitation for Ricky will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036, with a prayer service taking place 7:00 PM. A private cremation will follow all services.
