Soimene Jolicoeur

Soimene Jolicoeur, born on July 12, 1950, in Jamel Haiti, peacefully passed away on August 3, 2023, in Elizabeth, NJ. She was a beloved member of her community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Soimene was a loving and caring person, always ready to lend a helping hand and give selflessly to others. Her generous spirit knew no bounds, and she would gladly give her last if it meant bringing comfort to those in need. Family was of the utmost importance to Soimene, and she cherished the moments spent with her loved ones.

A devout member of her church, St. Michael Holy Rosary, Soimene found solace and strength in her faith. Her dedication to her religious beliefs was a guiding force in her life, and she is actively participated in church activities and events.

In her professional life, Soimene worked as a Guest Packaging package handler. She approached her job with diligence and a strong work ethic, always striving to do her best.

Soimene is preceded in death by her husband, Eric Jolicoeur, and her daughter, Linda Jolicoeur. She is survived by her sons, Evans and Arthur, her daughters, Lydia and Judy, as well as her grandchildren, Rebecca, Derick, Osiris, Omarquis, Alicia, Aaliyah, Soyraya, and Lucifer. Sh also leaves behind her brothers and sisters back in Haiti, who will forever cherish the memories they shared together.

Soimene Jolicoeur will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of family, and her unwavering faith. Her legacy of compassion and generousity will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.

A visitation for Soimene will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary and St. Michael's Catholic Church, 52 Smith Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. A funeral mass will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Holy Rosary and St. Michael's Catholic Church. A committal service will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ 07067.
