Stella Christiani

Stella’s work career was varied - beginning at Liberty Cork Co. in Jersey City, AT&T in New York City, retiring from Bell Atlantic (Payroll/Accounting Department) in 1990 after 25 years. Stella was a resident of Linden for almost 70 years. She enjoyed traveling, taking road trips throughout the U.S., family beach vacations at the Jersey Shore, Long Beach Island and European adventures. She loved the outdoors, long walks in the park, baking - especially with her granddaughters and attending her grandsons baseball games. Her family always looked forward to her weekly Sunday dinners. She was curious and inquisitive and was always referencing her encyclopedias. She loved music and her singing was often heard throughout the house. Stella was an avid reader of biographies, mysteries and the newspaper. Friday night dancing with her husband of 56 years was a favorite pastime.

She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Christiani, devoted mother of Jane Christiani, Debra Christiani and her husband William Miron, Roger Christiani and his wife Lorraine. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas Christiani and his wife Stacy, Andrea Christiani, and Elizabeth Szczepanik and her husband Frank, great grandmother of Jameson and Cameron.

Visiting Wednesday, April 20, 2022 4:00-8:00 pm.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Thursday, April 21, 2022, 9:00 am from Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth RC Church, Linden at 10:00 am. Entombment Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge.
