

Yves François Aubourg, age 59, of Roselle, New Jersey, departed this life peacefully on December 15, 2024. He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on May 20, 1965, and was the son of Michel Aubourg and Claire Vallès. Yves was a loving husband and a devoted father, mentor, and friend who dedicated his life to faith, family, and community. After immigrating to the United States in 1986, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Kean College and built a distinguished career in healthcare, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in medical diagnostics.
Yves was a trailblazer in public service. He served as the first Haitian American on the Roselle Board of Education and then became Board President. He then went on and was elected as Roselle’s First Ward Councilman. Also, during his terms, he served as Police Commissioner, and Chair of the Finance Committee. His leadership and advocacy earned him recognition, including being named Haitian American of the Year in 2007.
A devout Catholic, Yves lived his faith through action. He served as a Trustee of St. Joseph the Carpenter Church for over 20+ years and supported other parishes, including Holy Rosary & St. Michael’s in Elizabeth and Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway. His deep devotion and dedication to serving others reflected his belief in the power of faith and community.
Beyond his many professional and civic accomplishments, Yves will be remembered for his charisma, humor, and vibrant personality. He brought light into every room and inspired all who had the privilege of knowing him. A man of boundless compassion, Yves dedicated his life to uplifting others, whether through mentoring, community service, or simply giving back to his homeland Haiti.
Yves leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. His unwavering dedication to his family, community, and faith will forever inspire those who carry his memory in their hearts.

Surviving Yves are his loving wife, Felicie Desroches-Aubourg, his children, Melissa Aubourg, Yves Francois Aubourg II, Brian Aubourg and his stepson, Ronald Mardochée Paraison, his grandchildren, Harvey and Hunter Coles. He will also be missed by his siblings: Edouard Aubourg, Marie Carmelle Michelle Aubourg, Marie Michelle Sylvain, Esther Francois, Maggie Mazyck & Beatrice Mauvais; his sisters-in-law: Rosario Aubourg, Yolette Moise, Natacha Desroches, Kettly Beauregard Aubourg, Marjorie Noisil, Mona Polynice & Marie Carmel Polynice; his brothers-in-law: Daniel Moise, Harold Hart, Reginald Rigaud, Reginald Noisil, Pierre Polynice, Fadoule Briséus, Jean Ignace Francois, Darren Mazyck, Marquis Mauvais & Alain Louissaint; his nieces and nephews: Nicole Aubourg, Robbie Kris Pangilinan, Edouard Jr., Alexandria & Stephanie Aubourg, Vanessa, Stephanie, Reggie & Raphael Rigaud & family, Darnell Christopher Moise, Jessica Yoleen Moise Theodule & family, Danica Judy Moise McKoy & family, Marlon Cenatus & family, Jonathan, Carl-Henry & Nathalie Briséus, Regine Noisil, Stacy Polynice, Evans & Laura Francois, Rick & Christina Mazyck & family, Emmanuel & Marley Mauvais, Hannah, Gina & Immanuel Hart & family; his uncle & aunt: Hughes Noel & Mrs. Paul Vallès Sr. and a host of cousins.

A visitation for Yves will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 , 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 157 E 4th Ave, Roselle, NJ 07203. A interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, 750 E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
