SABATTUS: Adrian J. Roy, Jr., 55, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 24, at his home. AJ was born in Sanford on March 10, 1957, the son of Adrian Roy, Sr. and Marion (Champion) Cloutier. He was raised in Lewiston and attended Lewiston schools. He married the love of his life, Linda Durgin on April 29, 1978. In 1979 they had a daughter.
AJ enjoyed nature and loved all animals, especially his pet cats and dogs. As well as family camping trips, he camped regularly in his camper at nearby campgrounds for several summers, during which he made many friends. Family and friends were very important to him. He would go out of his way to help people when he could. AJ’s favorite hobby was woodworking. He enjoyed making things and did so often. He also loved relaxing by the ocean. Adrian was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus Lisbon Council 2358. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda Roy of Sabattus, one daughter, Amanda Roy and her partner Rodney Harris, Jr. and granddaughter Lacey of Lewiston; Eric Pagnani and his wife Nicole of Auburn and grandsons Issac and Matthew; his mother, Marion Cloutier and stepfather Ernest Cloutier, Sr. of Lisbon; his brothers David Caughran of Pataskala, Ohio and Ernest Cloutier Jr. of Lisbon; his sister Betty Gray and her husband Randy of Lisbon; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
