Bernice Olga (Small) Earle

1932-2021

Lewiston- Bernice Olga Earle, age 89, passed away at her home in Lewiston on Saturday, December 29th.

Born in Lisbon Falls on May 10th, 1932, she was the daughter of Carroll and Elizabeth (Elcik) Small. Educated in the local schools she then became a spinner working in a textile mill. She married her husband Robert Earle Sr. on May 29th, 1954, and enjoyed 43 years with him until his passing on February 14th, 1998.

Bernice was dedicated to her family and was happiest when she was in their presence, and when she couldn’t be with them, she enjoyed using Facebook to keep connected to them. In her free time, she enjoyed reading romance novels, particularly enjoying the writing of Danielle Steel.

She is survived by her children, Robert Jr. and his wife Debbie of Lisbon, Linda Pissonnier and her husband Rick of Lewiston, George and his wife Beth of AZ, Leslie and his wife Cindy of Old Orchard, and a son-in-law Willy Nunez of NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren Robbie, Bryan, Edward, Justin, Mike, Mechelle, her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kimmy, Gabriella, Austin, Madison, Griffin, Ben, Aubrey, Annabelle, Brittany, Caleb, Angie, Bryant, Parker, and Johannes, 4 great great-grandchildren, and her best friend and sister-in-law Margie Smith.

She is predeceased by her parents, Carroll and Elizabeth (Elcik) Small, her brother and sisters: Rosa Dupal, Carroll Small Jr., Leslie Small, Delia Donohue, and Julia Rancourt. As well as her daughter Julie Nunez.

Services for Bernice will be a visitation from 10AM to 12PM with a prayer service beginning at 12PM. In the care of Crosman Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Lisbon Falls.
