Chester Lane

1960-2022

Chester “Chet” Lane, 61, of Lisbon Falls, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1960 in Portland the son of Millard Clarance and Mary Ruth (Blanchard) Lane.

Chet married Lois Mitchell in 1988. He worked as an equipment operator for Wyman & Simpson for 40 years. He loved working with wood, frett work and restoring/ rehabing furniture. Most of his spare time was spent in the workshop on projects for his & Lois' resale business.

Chet is survived by his wife Lois Lane; a son Robert Lane and his wife Gabrielle; nieces, nephews and cousins, along with his “adopted” Collins/Hyland family of Falmouth.

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Millard (Junior), Harold, William and sister Bertha Moody.

A graveside service will be held during the spring of 2022 at Riverside Cemetery in Yarmouth.
