Evelyn L Richard Hartwell

Evelyn L. Hartwell, 86, passed to Heaven March 20, 2011 at the Hospice House in Auburn. She was born December 26, 1924 a daughter of the late Philip and Aurelie (Bernier) Richard. Evelyn loved to bowl and often times her scores were better than the mens. She enjoyed traveling to the southwest and trips to Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico, and Alaska. Evelyn worked as a lab technician and later became an excellent cook and homemaker. She loved to read devouring books in short order. She had and outgoing personality and people like her immediately. Evelyn was a Eucharistic Minister for Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lisbon Falls. Evelyn leaves behind her husband Philip of 62 years, her two children: Ann Barbay and husband Don of Lisbon Falls and John Hartwell and wife Karen Rohrbacher of South Portland; one grand-daughter Jessica Barbay of Oregon; a sister Phyllis Bickford of Lisbon Falls as well as many lifelong friends and her bowling league. Hartwell, Evelyn L., 86, passed away March 20, 2011 at the Hospice House in Auburn. Visitation will be held from 4-7 Wednesday March 23, 2011 at Crosman Funeral Home 40 main St. Lisbon Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Thursday March 24, 2011 at Holy Trinity Church 67 Frost Hill Ave., Lisbon Falls.
