

LEWISTON - Frank J. Anicetti, better known as, "Mr. Moxie", passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Marshwood Center in Lewiston. He was born in Lewiston on April 22, 1940, the son of the late Frank and Catherine (Ivanisin) Anicetti. Frank attended Lisbon High School and later went into business with his father at Kennebec Fruit Company. In the early '80s, Frank held a book signing for Frank Potter, the author of, "The Moxie Mystique". Moxie fans flocked to the signing and the rest is history and the Moxie festival started. Frank was known for being a kind, generous and unique individual. The best thing that Frank liked, was talking to everybody about anything and everything. Frank is survived by his sister, Cathey Bienkowski and her husband, Robert of Michigan; his nieces, Sara Weinberg JD, and Allison Evans PhD and her husband, David Evans MD; his nephew, Justin Bienkowski DVM; and many grandnieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 4-7pm at Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon Falls. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 4-7pm at Crosman Funeral Home in Lisbon Falls. A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
