

Lloyd was born on April 11, 1947 in Lisbon Falls, Maine to the late Viola and David Reed. He was a Lisbon High School graduate. Lloyd retired from the former US Gypsum after 42 years of service. In his retirement years, he worked as a custodian with Sally at Lisbon Falls Baptist Church and later at the Quality Inn in Auburn in the laundry department, with Sally by his side. He also worked as a carpenter’s helper for his friends Scott Frasier and Bob Strout.
Lloyd was a member of Lisbon Falls Baptist Church where he had served as an usher, was on the counting committee, trustee board and helped at the Christian Academy.
Lloyd had many passions in life including going on cruises, gardening, puzzles, word find books, tending to his bird feeders and was an avid New York Yankees fan.
One of his favorite places to visit was Hampton Beach, he had a love for the ocean. Lloyd was a helpful neighbor and would often be found assisting neighbors with clearing snow or yard work.
Lloyd made Christmas magical with his flair for decorating the house with lights. Later in life, Lloyd and Sally participated in several Moxie 5k races. He was a lover of cats and had several throughout his lifetime. He was a proud supporter of the military.
Lloyd was an amazing example of what a godly husband and father should be. He leaves behind his loving wife Sally Reed of 42 years; daughters Oralie O’Neil, Susan Colson and her husband Chuck, Shari Mercier and her husband Tony, Beth Call and son Oliver (Bub) O’Neil; grandchildren Michaela and Christian LaPlante, Michele Orr, Joshua, Nate and Shane Colson; his many nieces and nephews, his brother Paul Reed and sister Sally Bellerose.
He is predeceased by his parents, his sisters Nancy, Betty and Mary and brother Arthur.

A Celebration of life service will be held on January 20, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Lisbon Falls Baptist Church.
