

Bowdoin - Michael J. Duricko, 66, of Durham, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his sister's home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lisbon Falls on August 25, 1950, the son of the late Michael J. Duricko Sr. and Alice (McKinney) Duricko. He attended local schools graduating from Lisbon Falls High School in the class of 1968. He lived his entire life in the Durham area working at US Gypsum from 1969 to 1970, Clement Bros. from 1970 to 1974, Neil's Transport from 1974 to 1978, Ryder Rental from 1977 to 1978, Motor Truck and Trailer from 1978 to 1990 and at Shaw's as a shop foreman from 1990 until his death this Wednesday. Michael had a great love of fishing, was a member of the Central Maine Bassmasters . He also enjoyed working on cars, drag racing in his younger days and hunted on the McIver Farm every Fall.
Michael is survived by his son Sean Duricko and fiancée Lynsie Lamontagne, two sisters: Nancy Stewart and husband Kenneth of Brunswick, Arlene McIver of Bowdoin and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at The Crosman Funeral Home on Monday from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. At 1:00 PM friends and relatives will be invited to share remembrances of special times spent with Michael. A small celebration of life will be celebrated afterwards at the Lowest Slovak Hall located at 26 Avery St. in Lisbon Falls.
